Today would normally be the day I blogged about the Food of SHIVER. But I have spent the last three days at Comic Con in Salt Lake City. So instead, it actually makes more sense to share a little of what Aidan does for a living. As a graphic novelist, my hero, Aidan Harte would have been right beside me during all of Comic Con. His crazed fans would've dressed up as his spirit totem characters and go as wild as I did for Adrian Paul, Kevin Sorbo, William Shatner, and Stan Lee. These are his peeps and this is his world.
Stan Lee answered what inspired him to write superheroes. When he was a kid he loved Earl Flynn movies. He wanted to weld a sword and rescue the damsel in distress. He always kept a watch out for women in peril so he could be there to save them. Eventually he wrote about this need. Aidan did the same thing. He wanted to be the hero, and in his graphic novels he could be.
Here are a few pictures of my unforgettable time at Salt Lake City Comic Con 2013.
Today is the last chance to enter to win one of three digital copies of SHIVER. I will be announcing the winners Monday on SHIVER's official release day, but if you can't wait for SHIVER, its available now at Amazon
and Barnes & Noble.
Everything happened a little early and SHIVER went live Saturday while I was at Comic Con. I think that's a good sign.
